-
We calculate fees based on scope, complexity, and projected resources, then present a transparent proposal. If we can see how we can add value, we try to do what we can to support collaborators in achieving their vision.
-
There is no typical project when it comes to innovating design experiences. Programmes are usually made up of different workstreams, which you might stagger or prioritise at one time. Projects generally range from two weeks to several months for comprehensive transformation.
-
The experience design ecosystem integrates many touch-points and types of projects.
For a summary of our offerings, visit the SERVICES page where you’ll find a list, along with a project portfolio that summarises what Kate’s been involved with over time.
Visit the EXPERIENCE page for more detailed, and visual stories across the work that has shaped WE–FORM, many of which inform what type of projects we still do.

Good question. According to most dictionaries wholisitc is an accepted form of holistic.
We prefer it because it refers to the whole of something, not the hole - and that there might be something missing. And we’re certainly not holy.
A small foible that characterises our mindset at WE–FORM, but we’ll adapt to your preference here.

Most of our innovation work is humanity-led, driven by design and futures methods.
However, customer experience (CX) innovation lies particularly close to our hearts, but it is an approach that is transferrable across most user groups.
We share more about our practice, and the innovation and futures frameworks that influence us on the PRACTICE page.

WE–FORM collaborates with all stakeholder groups, depending on the needs of their role.
This can include client collaborators, customers, business partners, C-Suite leaders, or front-line staff.
It can also include other multi-disciplinary design team members. This changes one needs of the job, and is why it’s always important to set out roles and responsibilities at the outset.
For more about what kind of sectors we work with, check this out on oour SERVICES page. -
Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, WE–FORM can collaborate either remotely across the country or internationally. With this local-global approach, we adapt to suit the needs of the project, which might be hybrid, on-site, or field research.
Often with interviews, we work away from office spaces for discrenary reasons. For more detail on this, check out our SERVICES page. -
WE–FORM is registered as a sole trader in New Zealand, but we don’t think that size matters. Collaborating with other talented design and innovation professionals, we can scale a team to suit your needs. You can read more about Kate, and her background on the BIO page.

As you might’ve read, Kate began studying and working in premium hotels. You might like to look at this as the perfect environment to learn about designing experiences.
From operational processes, human resource and psychology needs, delivery through the service line with front and back of house, guest satisfaction, the importance of guest discretion, care and data storage - most often in a CRM, not to mention staff recognition, growth and reward.
To deliver memorable experiences, multidisciplinary hotel teams must work together, with technology and in person, to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences, from booking to arriving, staying, and departure.
These provide solid foundations and a customer-centric lens to learn about the blend of on- and offline experiences.
Drop Kate a note if you’d like to explore this idea further, or would like an experience audit on your hotel or hospitality operation.
Let’s begin with Design Mindfulness
